Manila is the capital of the island nation of the Philippines. To celebrate their enthusiasm for the sport of tennis and their joie de vivre, we took forward four key elements to construct the Manila Mavericks logo. We used the colours of their flag to show a direct Philipino influence, the curves of a wave to establish the dynamic nature of the islands, the tennis ball, and ofcourse the letter 'M' to bring an instantly recognisable form to life.
