Hinduja Foundation

Coins act as slivers of history, They hold clues to our own place in the evolution of society, culture and commerce… The Largest collection of ancient Indian coins dating back to the Satvahana Dynasty was graciously bequeathed to the Hinduja group by an amazing philanthropist and photographer called Lance Dane. The Hinduja Foundation’s promise to the late Lance Dane was to document every coin and artifice and create a platform to enable research, discussions and honor the collection with an exhibition space so it was accessible to the public. We had an awesome time researching, planning and shooting this project. Not to mention, enjoying the homemade sweets that the lovely Mrs Harsha Hinduja sent across as a token of gratitude!
