Mahesh Samat, the CEO and founder of EPIC had a unique proposition for Indian television. He wanted to provide the nation with a high quality content-driven channel that focused solely on Indian History and Mythology. The brand's design and communication therefore had to reflect the same passion of transporting viewers into a world that was curious and faintly familiar at the same time.

We first worked on creating a broadcast friendly and memorable logo and further proceeded to use the logo's shield as our key visual mnemonic across all mediums. The end result was a distinct mix of modern and traditional Indian aesthetics.
